Take a Break From Back Pain!

Christmas is now one of last year’s memories and it’s back to the rat race. But if you are one of the many people that experience back pain at work, your office habits could be the culprit!

Recent research has revealed that only 17% of British workers take a full hour for their lunch breaks and the 83% who don’t could be facing health and productivity impacts.*

If you’re among this staggering high number of workers who cling to their desks like January frost on car windscreens, our team at Pure Chiropractic Staines has some hot advice:

  • Set lunchtime goals such as specific walking targets to encourage you to get away and take a sufficient break.
  • Keep your eyes peeled for small opportunities to exercise during your work time. Use the stairs instead of the lift, for example, or walk around the block during your lunch break.
  • Park the car a little further away from your office or get off your bus or train one or two stops earlier and walk the rest of the journey to work.
