After discovering that my personality was best suited towards healthcare, I found Chiropractic and have been an avid supporter initially as a patient and now as a clinician.
When working as a Chef I had one of the unfortunate moments of bending down and then not being able to stand up after. I found a local Chiropractor and entrusted my health with them and saw that the benefits were outstanding, feeling well and functioning better in a matter of days and improved even more over the coming weeks. This led me to want to pursue this as a career, being able to help people to do what they want and live life to their full potential.
I graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2010 with a Masters of Chiropractic Degree and following was awarded the Most Promising New Chiropractor of the Year 2011, which was presented by the College of Chiropractors.
Following working in different areas of health and social care I am enthusiastic about health in general taking an interest in exercise, diet, posture and ergonomics; having a holistic approach to care taking all external factors into account to provide the best possible treatment. This has been extended into my own life, making me much more aware of the stresses and strains that we are subjected to on a day to day basis, giving me a positive outlook and personally practicing the ways in which we should take care of ourselves.
My interests lie in sports injuries, especially Rugby and Cycling as they follow the same hobbies as my own. Recently this has been extended to running with the completion of my first half marathon. I also enjoy treating a wide range of patients and specialise in the pregnant patient and in neo-natal care.
